“Awareness means the capacity to see a coffeepot and hear the birds sing in one’s own way and not the way one was taught.”
What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a relationship-centred process that offers space to explore emotional difficulties, relationships and ways of experiencing yourself and others.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms or immediate solutions, psychotherapy can help develop greater awareness of what may be happening in your emotional and relational life. Through regular therapeutic work, experiences that may initially feel confusing, overwhelming or difficult to understand can gradually become clearer.
Psychotherapy is collaborative and reflective. Together, we can explore what may be happening beneath familiar difficulties, creating space for greater understanding and meaningful change.
What is Transactional Analysis?
Transactional Analysis is a relational approach to psychotherapy that explores how early experiences, relationships and unconscious patterns can continue to shape present ways of thinking, feeling and relating.
It considers how past experiences, relationships and decisions can shape the ways we think, feel and relate, often outside of conscious awareness. Developing greater awareness of these patterns can support a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships and the ways you respond to life experiences.
Through therapeutic exploration, recurring patterns, emotional difficulties and internal conflicts can become more understandable, including how earlier experiences may continue to influence present relationships and ways of responding.
